Tangy Lemon Cooler

A truly refreshing drink for a hot summer day. Zest the lemon by finely grating only the lemon peel, not the white bitter pith beneath the peel.

10oz of Melitta Classic coffee

1 cup lemon sherbet or gelato

2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 teaspoons lemon zest

2 teaspoons sugar

 

Brew a 10-ounce cup of Melitta Classic coffee.

Refrigerate the coffee until chilled. In a blender, combine the chilled coffee, sherbet, lemon juice, lemon zest and sugar until smooth. Pour into two chilled glasses and serve.
