Peppermint & Cream Caffè

1 small candy cane

1 ounce peppermint schnapps

5oz of Melitta Classic coffee

2 tablespoons whipping cream

 

Place the candy cane in a self-sealing plastic bag. Remove the air from the bag and seal. Using a heavy rolling pin, crush the candy cane into fine pieces.

Lightly moisten the rim of an 8-ounce mug with water. Dip the rim into the crushed candy pieces. Pour the peppermint schnapps into the mug, avoiding the rim of the mug.

 

Brew a 5-ounce cup of Melitta Classic coffee.

 

Use the Melitta® frother to whip the cream. Spoon the whipped cream on top of the hot coffee.

 

Sprinkle any remaining candy pieces on top of the cream.
